zumbagua is a small village in the mountains close to quito. it is situated in a area where the native culture is protected from western (bad?) influence. so the market on saturdays looks still the same like centuries ago except the dozen of tourists. but these tourists feel more like lions in a zoo cage than the opposite way round.
