coroico and la paz are only seperated by less than 100 km and ... a 4500m high pass. the breath taking one-way "death-road" leads through vertical rock faces - and 30 buses are said to fall of the cliff each year. exhausted from the scary trip - the pleasent climate in coroico compensates for the cold on the altiplano.
